Busy, busy, busy

Alright, I know it's been a LONG time since I've posted, but - you've guessed it - we've been busy!!
This past week has been full of fun and entertainment. Wednesday was the beginning of it all - the Box Elder County Fair Parade with the Fair the rest of the week. To kick it all off we had a lunch at moms house (sort of celebrating the birth of little Emma). Leslie and her girls came up for the day (Les took AWESOME pics of Emma with her fancy, shmancy camera... look for them soon) and that evening we all went to the parade.
Thursday Jen and her kids came up - for the fair of course - and spent the night and were here all day Friday.
Saturday we headed to Logan and did some birthday shopping for Marley. And that brings us to today. We went to church and then have spent the rest of the day at home doing NOTHING. This week has been really fun but today has been great. We've relaxed, I've read, Colt has watched football, it's been a nice day.
So here are some random pictures from the past week.
Corbin and Marley at the parade. We got lots of candy. =)

Emma - 2 weeks old.

Her appointment went well. She's gained over a pound since she was born, now weighing in at 8 lbs 13 oz. She is obviously a good eater and is in healthy tip top shape. Her cord fell off last Monday and her button is looking good. She goes anywhere from 4 - 6 hours at night, but I won't claim her to be perfect. Some nights I'm up with her for an hour to an hour and a half straight. Ok, she is perfect. I love her!!

Sunday nap with Daddy.

Marley can function a snorkel system. It's great.

Emma - 13 days young.

Cousin Rylee meeting and loving Emma.

Corbin does so good at holding his new baby sis.

Marley is always asking me to take pics of her and her baby.

"We're saying cheese, Mom!!"

Flag Football

Corbin started flag football - Brigham City league - last Monday. He LOVES it!! Even though it's supposed to be FLAG football there was plenty of tackling going on. Corbin had a couple of good plays and of course PLENTY of tackles. His coach started the practice off by teaching them to hold/block. He's a natural, that's our boy!!

Emma's first real outting. Look how big she is!

Corbin and Tyler - his cousin - are on the same team... the Patriots.

If you know us at all you know that the Patriots are not a well liked team. (Go COLTS!!) Poor Corbin has had a hard time adjusting to his team name. He says he likes the "small Patriots" now, trying to be a team lover.

That's him right in the center, good blocking!

Marley is a football fan, too. We've trained them well!!

We're home!!!

Welcoming our little
*** Emma Shea ***
What a morning that was. We got to the hospital at one a.m. (after I contracted for an hour) and she was born just before three (yes, 2:56). QUICK delivery. I felt every bit of the epidural and my mom and the nurse explained to me last night that it's because I was so far along in the delivery already. They were surprised I even had one. It was the closest thing to going natural without actually going natural. I felt things that I didn't want to but it was a good experience. I can say that now. =)
Thank you, Leslie, for puting the previous post on here. Now here are some pictures!!
Enjoy pictures of our little baby Emma.

I was extremely tired and loopy all day yesterday.

Beautiful girl. Her round cheeks and face remind me of a cabbage patch baby doll.

My favorite picture.

Getting ready to come home.
(Tremonton hospital was great, by the way!!!)

We're finally home!

Drum roll please....

The baby has arrived!!! It is a...

****GIRL!!!!!****

Congratulations to Stef and Colt! Their baby girl decided to come on her own and arrived at about 3am this morning (I believe it was 2:56).

She weighs 7lbs 11oz and is 19 1/2 inches long.

She has lots of light brown air and is absolutely adorable.

I have only seen one picture taken from a cell phone, as soon as we get some pictures that are more clear, we will post them for all to see!

Oh, you ask what her name is? Well, she is currently nameless. They have a few they are thinking about, but nothing confirmed yet. The chubby cheeks threw them off. :)

Stef, Colt, Corbin, and Marlely... we love you all and congratulations!

RED WINS!!!!

PONY LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, RED WINS!!!!
I am so proud of these boys, all of them!!! We (because I had so much to do with it) went undefeated during the tournament. They did great and pulled through. These last two games were way too close for my comfort (playing the Brigham team who was undefeated during the season), we beat them both times.
I was being the stat girl so these are the only pics I got, after the big win. But Tracy (Avery's mom) took lots of pictures during the game. Check out her blog. These boys rocked!!!

The umpire called the game, Red wins!!

Here they all are (they were missing one boy, dangit!).

I would list their names but you probably don't care. Avery is in the center - to the right of the catcher... to his left I suppose.

Tough Guys!

Red vs Brigham
1st and 2nd place teams

Jordan and Avery - our two pitchers.
Jordan came in and pitched the last inning, only four batters he went through. Great job pitchers, you both did awesome!!

Getting their Championship shirts.

Final score - 8 - 7.
What a good experience this was for Colt. Thank you Avery for allowing him to coach you. We look forward to next summer!!

the Good Samaritan

To make a long story short Colt rescued a teeny tiny baby kitty; we figure about three weeks old. It was being hunted by a bigger cat and Colt - luckily - got between them. We brough the can home, Corbin named her Yoshi, and we've been giving her milk to get her back to health. If anyone is interested in taking little Yoshi please let us know. We don't want to send her back out there and we definitely don't want to take her to the "pound". She's oh so sweet but we're willing to give her a different home if anyone wants her.

Colt bathed her the night we brought her home. She wasn't looking so good. It was heart breaking.

She now will drink milk from a bowl. I was having to give her milk from a medicine dropper. She looks so much better!!

The kids obviously love her.

39 week appt

Yea, it has come and gone. Things went well at my appt this morning. I've dialated one more and - get this - have gained 7, yes SEVEN pounds in this past week. The nurse "assured" me this was ok cause I haven't gained anything in the last four appointments and when I HAVE gained it wasn't much. My doc said she didn't care what my body was saying she was going to start me. So we're headed in to the hospital tomorrow moring at 7 am. We'll get pics and info posted as soon as we can, hopefully my sisters will help!! =)

Wish us luck!
G'Nite!!
