this is why...

This is why I love to blog her. She's a beauty! Look at those eyes, that smile, and the drool on her chin. I think it's fun for me to blog her because she's changing all of the time and growing too fast. It won't be long and she'll be crawling all over the place. Then soon after that I won't be able to capture her genuine smiles. I could just eat her up!!

Scooby

I feel bad because I feel like I'm always posting pics of Emma. But lets face it, she's the cutest! Totally joking, well... not totally. ;)
This is a pic of CJ and his beloved webkinz Scooby. He loves this thing and even plans to throw him a birthday party on March 6th. What a kid.
Tomorrow Corbin will be recognized at school and receive an award at the Awards Assembely. I can't imagine what for - no absences, maybe? He's doing so great at school it could be a number of things but I don't know what they award these younger ones for. We'll see. I'll get pics taken and posted on here.

I love this kid. He's so tender hearted, caring, funny, mellow, loving, and just the best boy I could ever ask for. Look at his long fingers, I guess all my kids have those beautiful long fingers like their Great Grandma Nonnie, who we're always talking about. I do have a video of him singing a Bob Marley song that I tried to upload but it took way too long and I'm not that patient so I canceld the process. But Corbin, you're amazing!!!

the balloon - probably not the safest toy :)

Love her toes, I'm always kissing them!
(Charlotte, do you like her hair clip? ;)

(not sure why this pic flipped, it shouldn't have!)
Don't worry, Mom, I'm always there when she's holding it.

Happy V-Day...

... a little late ...

On the 18th we had a special V-Day dinner at our church. The YW were doing a camp fundraiser and we were able to have dinner with some friends there. The kids (except Emma, she slept in her car seat next to my chair) were watched by the Priests down in the nursery. They LOVED it! Marley was ready to go back the next day, and the next, and the next...
They were kind enough to give us these balloons that were used for decorations. A week later and they're still flying high! Emma is very entertained by them as well, more pics later...

Marley loves to hold her sis. Look at the tight grip Emma has on those strings.

Emma watching the balloons, sweet faces.

Colt bought me my favorite flowers, look how large that one Lily is - so pretty!!
Thanks babe, I love you!!!

Emma ~ 6 months

Her doctors appt went well, though she has another ear infection. Poor baby, I didn't even know. She's a trooper!
16 lbs 2 oz ~ 55%
27.2 inches ~ 85%
She's growing well, loves her food, and still sleeps through the night! She's started jabbering "dada" which is just unfare considering she's been a mommas girl for a while. One day, I'm sure, momma will be her favorite thing to say!
(and then it will be because she is mad, sad, or wants something!)

fRiEnDs

We are so lucky to have such good friends around us. Some are from way back when and others we've made since moving to Tremonton. It's great that our kids play together while us adults have our own play time, too!
~Marley*Macie~
Macie belongs to my long time friend, Josee, who makes these adorable hats. She also has another girl, Emry, who just turned one.
(if you're interested in these hats, let me know!)

~Ella*Emma~

Ella is the baby of my friend Charlotte. She also has a little boy that is just a few months younger then Marley. Corbin and Mar adore him!! I didn't get a pic of them this night, though, maybe another time.

Wowie, I never realized how close all of their names were! Ella is 2 1/2 months older then Miss Emma. Aren't they cute? Don't mind the cranky look on Emmas face, she was ready for bed. ;)

Family Scripture Time

We've started reading scripture stories with the kids from the Book of Mormon Stories book. It's great because the kids learn different stories from the Book of Mormon but they're told in a way that keeps their attention and they learn and remember what we've read. We read the chapters and then watch the DVD, which is same as the book but on the TV and narrated.

Emma being entertained by the story of Enos.

This is what her hair looks like after a long day in a "pony".
She is beautiful!

WhAtS nEw ThIs MoNtH

I can't believe January is over. Only a couple of neat things happened this month. Emma got her first tooth! (pics to follow) It explains so much! Today her second one finally broke through so hopefully this grumpy little faze she's been in can let us be.
Second, Colt became an uncle!! Ok, an OFFICIAL uncle. Colts brother, Loren, and his wife had their first baby on Jan 21st. His name is Drayce. I've yet to see pictures but hopefully we'll get some soon. Congratulations, guys!!
Here are a few random pictures, since I haven't posted in almost a month. Oops....

Marley - wearing a jacket she wore 2 years ago! I'm not sure how she does this...

You don't need to have twins to make them match! :)

I love my babies!!

Corbin torturing his baby sis. Alright, I'm certain he could do worse. You can totally sense the "what the" thought going through her little head.
