Blessing Headband

I decided to make her blessing headband because I couldn't find one that I actually liked... without giving away my kidney.
So here you go...

Pretty girl.

(= SMILE =)

These pictures remind me so much of Marley. I am happy that I FINALLY got some pictures of her smiling!! This is what I get to see every morning I go in to get her out of bed or when she's done napping. I love it!! There's nothing better then when you're baby smiles at you. Oh it melts my heart every time.
LOVE HER!!!

Oh my baby girl, love her to pieces!!

What is wrong with this picture????

ANY GUESSES??
This is Corbins special gift from Grandpa Howard. I wonder who his team is?? When Corbin opened is gift he was excited but then quickly looked at me as if to say "uh oh". He quickly confirmed that the Colts were his number one team but that he also likes the Raiders. In his defense this has always been so because he knows it's Grandpas team.

He thinks it's funny that he has a Raiders shirt. It sure came in handy on the day of "black day" at school.

Colt is ok with it, but only because Grandpa gave it to him.

Thanks Dad, Corbin loves it!!

::Corbins B-DAY party::

I cannot believe he is 6!! These past years have gone by so fast. He is so much fun to be around and has the sweetest, most loveable personality. He is my awesome little guy, though he's not little anymore.
Corbins interests this year are:
Football & Baseball
(always and forever!!)
Avatar
Transformers
Riding his bike
drawing
doing anything crafty
using his imgination

an Avatar toy from the Howard boys

Thank you everyone for coming!! We had a great time and were happy that you could share this celebration with Corbin. He loves to have parties, so thanks for coming to the most important one he could have.
Love you all!!!

Presents for Marley

Grandma and Grandpa K were unable to make it to Marleys b-day party so they brought gifts for her the day of CJ's party. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for taking care of her!! =)

She has gotten really into DORA lately. She loves her little Dora doll.

And of course she loves the Colts. haha When she saw this I think she was a little disappointed it wasn't pink. But I gotta tell ya, she has been wearing it and she looks so pretty in blue!! It's refreshing - for me - to see her in something other then pink. She really likes her Colts shirt... so does Daddy!! =)

Thank you for the gifts Grandma and Grandpa!!!

~a little bit of EMMA~

~EMMA~ is growing and changing so much!! She has gotten into her happy smiley faze, I love it! She's so happy, just like Marley was. I'm sure Corbin was the same, but Emma is reminding me more and more of little Marley, it's crazy.

This isn't the best picture but I've been trying for a week to get a pic of her smiling. She is staring at - of course - Marley. Look at that round little face.

I've been telling everyone how long my little one is that I think this picture might give you the real picture. I've already had to readjust the belts, it's now on the highest hole - up by her shoulders. She's so super long!!

Corbin is 6!!

We were together with just the five of us for Corbins birthday. We had a good night. We gave Corbin a couple of presents and saved the rest for his party.

above: This gift came from his primary teacher, Sister Furhiman.
He absolutely loves it!

We gave Corbin a race track, as you can see he loved it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. He was a little bummed, I'm just glad he had Sister Furhimans gift to keep him busy. Colt was pretty sad that his favorite toy did not come from us.
Before Corbin went to bed he said "Thank you, mom, for my big present." That hurt Colt's heart so bad that he said "Buddy, we'll take it back and you can pick out whatever you want at the store." Corbin was so excited, he knows just what he wants. A red Ford Mustang. Yes, one of the cars that he can actually drive. Holy moly!!

Corbin is 6!!

Now that Corbin is in kindergarten we couldn't do a whole lot during the day. We did, however, take him to McD's for breakfast - he loves pancakes!! That was his "special" birthday meal.
After we took Daddy to work we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Howards before Corbin had to go to school.

They gave Corbin his special card...

... with his special treat money. He was most excited about that. =)

see how cute?

I think they may end up looking alike!! There are definitely pics where Emma looks like Corbin but there are plenty of pics where I think she might come out looking like her big sis. It's so fun having two girls!!!!
Marley (in pink boots) 4/5 mths Emma 1 mth. See? Emma is a little bit bigger.

Scare Hair

I love looking at Emmas hair after tub time. This particular night I was scrubbing her head to get the little flakes out. Then I had to comb them out which lead to me putting lots of lotion on her dry little scalp. And here we are, look at her crazy hair. Corbin said she looks like a boy. I love it!

Emmas first Colts game

Emma was able to wear her COLTS dress to church on Sunday. In support, of course, of the first official season game. It's too bad they lost. Emma was lying on the floor at one part and Colt and I both yelled at the tv at the same time. Poor Emma jumped (if that's possible) and started crying. It was so sad. We forget she's not used to our yelling at sports like the other two. In due time, sweetie, in due time.

My dad had this horse shoe put on the dress for Marley when she was a baby.
Thanks again, Daddy!

Holy Postage!!

Be sure to check out all posts for September!! I posted so many pictures today that some posts went back a page. Be sure to check them all out!

Love to all,

Marley

Tuesday was a hard day. Marley had a hard fall - just like humpty dumpty - and landed on her beautiful face causing major blood spewage. It freaked me out. Colt came home (I'm lucky he works just a hop, skip and a jump away) to help me deal with it. She got a nice cut up under her lip and a nice gash taken out of her gum just above her front teeth. White was showing - bone or tooth we weren't sure.
I spoke with different doctors offices and they all said the same thing - no stitches in the mouth, self healing, give it time, bla bla bla. Needless to see I had a hard day. I broke down in tears feeling completely helpless. Her mouth bled for a good two hours before she finally fell asleep. Her poor mouth was swollen and sore, obviously. Everytime she smiled she look different, not my little Marley.
These pictures were taken Wednesday, her face looks much better then it did the day before. The right side of her face still looks a little different to me but it's not that bad anymore. My mom looked in her mouth and saw no white but blue. Her sore is healing! I was so happy to hear that. She learned her lesson, we're all happy to know.
ps These are her sparkly pants that she got for her birthday. The whole outfit is from her birthday, actually. Notice the princess cd player, she loves that thing! Then of course Baby Abby who is always with her.

Emma and Me

It's hard to believe that a year ago I had the miscarriage and now look at what I hold in my arms. I love our little Emma Shea, she is another special blessing.

She wanted to eat, diving for something... =)

~the cake~

Of course, it's pink!
Thanks mom, for baking it. =)

She didn't want to blow out the candles...

... she wanted Corbin to. =)

Grandpa, Corbin aka Bubba, Grandma Howard and Marley

~fun stuff~

Who remembers when Colt would say "my daughter is not going to be a princess?" This birthday was fun because he picked out her toys... you'll see... (I did the clothes, with an acception of the sparkly pants that he swore our girl would never wear. They aren't that bad, though. =)

Dad picked out her dress up dress.

Daddy and his non-princess... ya right.

This is her princess cd player. It's a fake one, by the way, but still plays music. She calls it her purse.

Dad picked out her necklaces, too.

(By the way, that shirt she is wearing is a 3t!)

Oh ya, dad picked out the tiara that came with a ring and clip on earings!

Grandma and Grandpa Howard gave her lip gloss. She's so excited!

This is her My Little Pony puzzle book from her Bubba.

Grandma and Grandpa Howard also gave her a Strawberry Shortcake doll (above) and a little purse with nail polishes. She was excited about that one, too!

Thanks for the gifts!!!
