So as you regulars out there know Colt is coaching. We had game three of the tournament tonight down in Brigham and we actually won!! I say actually because we beat the Brigham team who has been undefeated all season. We won 6 - 4, it was a good game.
Funny thing is THIS: our next game is this following Wed, the day that my doctor will do things to help delivery "come along". Would you believe that if this baby doesn't come I will be moving my doc apt to the following day so that we can be sure Colt won't miss a birth or a game? Isn't this weird? I never in a million years would've thought I'd be willing to hold off delivery for a championship baseball game. STRANGE!!! Plus depending on who we play there may or may not be one more game after that one. Oh boy. This will be an interesting week. We'll keep you informed...

38 week apt
So nothing has changed. My doc has told me that at week 39 - if babe hasn't come yet - she'd do some things to help me get going. We shall see. (see the next post) I know things can change super quick, we'll just see. Meanwhile I'm tired of heart burn (I just LOOK at my bed and I get heart burn, thank heavens for Stride gum!!!!) and my right hip bone is sore, I figure from sleeping and the weight of the baby resting on it. Other then those two things I think I'm doing pretty well. =)
More as it comes....

37 week apt
Still pregnant! My doc apt went well. I've gained 1 1/2 lbs over the past week, my blood pressure was great, and my strep b test came back negative. I'm still at a two and now 50% effaced. I'm just chillin through our busy schedules waiting for Baby Peanut to come. The closer it gets the more excited I am. I can honestly say I have NO CLUE what this baby is, what a fun delivery (sounds weird) this will be!!

Mini Color Guard Camp
When a young girl in our ward came to our home and asked of Marley would like to go to Color Guard Camp (for a fundraiser at the high school) I jumped at the opportunity. Corbin has had t-ball and little Marley has just gone where we've taken her. I was happy to finally have something just for HER. They got their own flags and t-shirts and spent time at the HS to learn their routine.
It didn't start off all that great. Marley was overwhelmed and wouldn't remove herself from me. When they split the girls up (Marley was about a year younger then the girls in her group) another girl in our ward who Marley knows was one of her teachers. Abby practically peeled Marley off of me. Marley didn't cry she just kept yelling towards me "I don't want to play!" I ignored her like any good mom would. =)
I stayed for the first hour just to make sure she was ok. She kept talking about a pink sucker (pink is her favorite color) and I told her I'd go get her one. About 10:30 I left her and went and got her two pink treats. When I got back she wasn't with her group, up in the bleachers playing. So I told her "I have two pink treats for you, if you want them you have to go do your dance." So she left, picked up her flag, practiced, and did the routine. She was completely different then when I left her. By the end of the actual performance she was DONE. I don't blame her. It was really hot in there and she'd been going for 2 1/2 hours.
She did great, I am so proud of her. When we got back to grandma and grandpas she showed him her routine. "Sweep the floor, rainbow", she really likes it now. I'm so happy she had something for her this summer. There are a lot of pictures below, I had to post the ones I really like. What a cute girl!!
"My First Fishing Trip...."
So this statement is true for 3 out of 4 of our family members. Colt is the only one who's ever been and we, as a fam, finally went last night. I've never been into fishing and have had no desire to go, but the kids were so excited that I wanted to be there with them. Marley went with Daddy to the store to get all of the stuff we needed for the fishing pole and she happily sat right by his side and got it ready to go. Colt knew not to expect anything from me but photography. No worm or fish touching for me!!

36 week apt
Quick update...
First thing first, I've haven't gained weight!! (in the past two weeks, anyway)
Second, I'm 30-40% effaced and a 1-2... so things are happening. The baby is still floating, though. Hasn't made it's final decent, I like to say.
Third, she said next week I am considered full term and wouldn't stop me if I went into labor. So it's walking time for the Kiersteads, next week, at least. Now if we can just find the time to get me walking.
That's all folks!

a big day for my BOYS!!
What a big day for my Kierstead boys!! One of them learned to ride his bike without training wheels and the other learned to play two hymns on our "new" piano - top hand only, but still!! What a big day, I am so proud of both of them!!!!
So proud of both of them today!
After his first run he was having a hard time. I took him in the house and offered to say a little prayer for him. He decided having Dad give him a blessing was the better option. (Back before his preschool graduation he was really nervous to give his part. Dad gave him a blessing and he felt better and did great. It was obvious he remembered this experience.) So Colt brought him in the house and blessed him with courage to try and to keep practicing. And of course the desire to do both. He felt much better and went back out and eventually became a pro! When he fell into the weeds or grass he jumped right back up. He was ok with it unlike before, he was so hard on himself before.
36 weeks- WARNING - naked tummy pic to follow!!
So I realized I hadn't posted prego pics in a while so here you go... for those who care. For those who don't, why are you even looking???? ;)
I'll officially be 36 weeks on Wed, though since they moved my due date up I'm 36 weeks today. Ok, it really doesn't matter. My next apt is this Wed, I'll post with any "news" I receive.
Look at that tummy. I'm definitely bigger with this one then I was with Marley, that's for sure. I think it pokes out more then when I had Corbin in there. Corbin I was big all AROUND so it's hard to compare, but this stomach is definitely more pointy. Colt reminds me I don't see this view. Holy cow!!
My expression in this pic just makes me laugh. For some reason it reminds me of Jen. Is it the eyes? I can't put my finger on it, somebody help me out here.
And this is what Corbin LOVES to do. Normally I don't show naked belly pics, I don't even take them. I realize it's not a pretty sight and that people don't care to see that but Corbin was so determined to get this picture taken that I just gave in. He loves to hug my belly, for some reason it's better like this - uncovered. Funny guy... he so loves this stomach, true love from this kid.

happy birthday to me!!
Look what Colt got me!!
We've had the FAMILY frames for a while now but we finally got them out and up.
This was what I wanted for my birthday gift, getting stuff for our big giant of a wall. He was nice enough to come with me to place the order and then even MORE nice enough to hang everything for me. I love you honey, thank you so much!!!
Next step is getting our family pictures hung. =) I guess now with baby peanut almost here the actual next step would be getting new pictures taken... and then hung. =) YEA!!!
Marley-ism
We haven't had one of these in a long time, I suppose we were overdue.
Wednesday was a day spent cleaning out storage. I was digging through boxes trying to find our baby clothes, both for a boy and a girl. Enough just to get us through the first couple of days home from the hospital.
Anyway, our family room in the basement was a mess and I forgot I had left my scissors downstairs (along with tape for re-packing boxes) when I hear Corbin yelling. "Mom... Marley is cutting her babys hair..."
As I headed downstairs the vision flashed through my mind where I stupidly left the scissors down for her hands to reach. Then I felt a wave of relief hearing that it was her baby and not her own hair taking the hit. Then the next thought was "should I take the camera?", but reminded myself this wasn't a moment to recognize... or was it?
So this is what I find....
As I was standing over her doing my "no no" moment with her face looking down into her lap I still felt relief that her beautiful hair wasn't cut to shreds. She looked up at me with the sweetest look in her face and we all (Corbin was watching every moment) began to laugh.
For this reason I took the pictures. Remarkably the baby dolls hair is very nice. I can't even tell where the scissors touched. Not that this makes the situation ok, just to say...
4th of July
Our 4th of July was very relaxing and mellow. We spent a couple of hours in Elwood at their big town party. That is always fun. Then went to my parents house for a bbq lunch (that Jon and Colt planned - go figure!!). We had brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, salad, corn on the cob, chips, rolls, and treats. Yummy!! Thanks for cooking Jon and Colt... and for the yummy mac salad, mom.
Of course we took our pool down and had some swim time, too. Then that night our neighbors invited us over to watch fire works. It was a tiring day but lots of fun.
Marley and Haylee in the pool. Jaxon and Corbin in the back getting ready for the slip n slide.
Just cute.
Corbin and Marley... You would never think Marley had a fear of water before, huh?
The chef. Thanks for planning the bbq, it was great!!
6-2
Yea, another win! They were down by three runs going into the final inning and they managed to come back and win. Final game is this Monday (maybe an extra day for a make up game, who knows?) and then the tournaments start this following Wed. Wish us luck!!!
Artsy Fartsy
Aunt Monique gave Corbin sidewalk chalk for his preschool graduation and it's been a HUGE hit at our home. The best drawing we've seen yet is this great family picture he drew for Daddy before he got home from work. So much fun!!

5-2
The are so many games that I'm always behind! They "won" their game last Wed. I saw "won" because it was a forfeit, technically, but from the looks of it our boys would've really creamed them. They still had a practice game, though. Our boys did great, Colt was bummed it couldn't have been a real game but we still got a win out of it. Next game is tonight, Monday, then not again until next Monday. I'll try to keep better posting. =)

4-2
Yes, the lost yet another game... last Wed, (I haven't wanted to post this... ) this time to a Brigham City team. Zach, one Tremonton Recs guys, said that these two teams (theirs and ours) would be the ones playing in the tournament. I hope he's right!! They didn't have a game last night, next game is tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.... Being the 4th week I don't know how many kids will actually be there. Colt is still loving it, that's what counts!! And the wins, of course... ;)
